I am committed to optimizing the dose of radiation my patients receive, striving to follow these principles:
- I consider the safety of my patients a priority, so I adjust the protocols of image acquisition to emit the lowest possible dose of radiation and obtain diagnostic images.
- I will transmit my knowledge and the principles of LATINSAFE to my work team, so that everyone in my service adopts safer practices.
- I will communicate and teach radiation protection principles to treating physicians.
- I will continually review the image protocols to make sure that the radiation is the minimum necessary to obtain diagnostic images.
