We prioritize patient safety by minimizing radiation exposure during medical imaging through various techniques and technologies.
Protocol and Dose Optimization in CT, Mammography, and Radiography in Latin America
This project applies to hospitals or clinics in Latin America in outpatient, emergency, ICU, and inpatient sectors. It proposes the use of data collection through a virtual platform with the aim of providing recommendations for protocol and radiation dose optimization in CT, mammography, and radiography exams. To determine the Dose Reference Level (DRL) based on clinical indication for the participating institution, as a sample of the national and regional DRL.
Regarding the RadSafe Latin America DRL study for pediatric patients, we aim to finalize this study in the next two months and subsequently initiate the adult study. To streamline communication, we are creating a WhatsApp group where we will provide updates, share necessary information, and answer any questions. Please join the WhatsApp group if you are participating in the study or would like to participate.
If you have not started collecting data but would still like to participate in both studies, please join the WhatsApp group and fill out this survey with your contact information so we can follow up.
