Agreement between CNEM and SBPR strengthens radiological protection

Posted on: 2020-07-21

On July 15, a Technical Cooperation Agreement No. 3/2020 between the National Nuclear Energy Commission (CNEN) and the Brazilian Society for Radiological Protection (SBPR) was released. The agreement’s signing would be in person but due to the covid-19 pandemic it took place remotely.

Its purpose is, among others, that the societies promote regulatory requirements together for radiological protection and guides referring to these contents, as well as the improvement of scientific, technical and administrative instruments.

We at Latin Safe are happy to share news like this and, even though it is a process in Brazil, we hope it will encourage similar attitudes in other countries.
