XXIV Brazilian Congress of Medical Physics takes place in August

Closer and closer, the XXIV Brazilian Congress of Medical Physics will be held on August 21 – 24 in Santos, a city in São Paulo coast. An initiative of the Brazilian Association of Medical Physics (which in 2019 completes 50 years), the event has been happening since 1969 and is in its 24th edition.

The organization has prepared 40 sessions and invited 80 speakers to participate in mini-courses, workshops and lectures with scientific, technological, educational and professional information on contemporary medical physics. Among the names that make up the scientific grid are Donald P. Frush, Stefaan Vandenberghe, Hilton Muniz Leão Filho, Caridad Borrás and Cynthia H. McCollough, among others!

In addition to the congress, on the 19th and 20th will be presented the pre-congress courses.
