Partnership between CBR and CFM gives rise to Forum of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging

The Brazilian College of Radiology (CBR) and the Brazilian Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) present, on July 5, the Forum of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, with the theme “Radiological Protection”. The event will be in Brasilia, in the Auditorium of the Federal Council of Medicine.

For now, only a preliminary schedule has been announced, but the event will be attended by the president of Latin Safe, Dr. Hilton Muniz Leão Filho, and other representatives who defend the flag. In addition, it will be very important for the subject itself to give the opportunity of discussion with CFM on the optimization and justification of the dose of ionizing radiation in imaging tests. The discussions will be multidisciplinary and will encompass practically all areas, duly represented by specialists.

There will be four round tables:

  • Justification, optimization in the context of Bonn Call for Action and problems faced
  • National and International Actions
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Regulation, Demands and Prospects
